On-Line PD testing can now also be conducted on High Voltage Generators and Motors to check the insulation status while the machine is running.

Split core High Frequency Current Transformers (HFCT) are placed on the supply cable to the machine. Unique software analyses the output from the sensor to distinguish the level and severity of any machine PD. It is possible to determine if the discharge is in the slot section or end windings.
